Tax Calculator PK

Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Last updated .

The most important term, stated first. Nothing on this site is tax advice. The figures are estimates based on published rates, produced without knowledge of your circumstances. Do not file, pay or make a financial decision on the strength of a figure from this site alone.

1. Who this agreement is with

These terms govern your use of Pakistan Tax Calculator at https://taxpakistan.pk. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this site is

An independent, free set of tax calculators and informational guides for Pakistan. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Federal Board of Revenue or any provincial revenue authority, and it is not a firm of accountants or tax practitioners.

3. No professional advice

The content is general information about published tax rates. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and using the site does not create any professional or advisory relationship.

Tax depends on facts this site does not know about you — the composition of your income, your residency, prior-year positions, exemptions specific to your circumstances. Before acting, verify your position against the relevant Finance Act, FBR’s IRIS portal, or a qualified practitioner.

4. Accuracy, and the limits of it

Considerable care goes into the figures. Every rate is taken from the published slab tables, each slab table is machine-checked for internal consistency, and every calculator shows its working so you can verify the arithmetic yourself. The About page describes that process.

Even so, no warranty is given that the figures are correct or current, because:

  • Tax law changes, sometimes mid-year through a supplementary Act or an SRO, and there is a lag before this site reflects it.
  • Published rates are open to interpretation, and FBR practice does not always match a literal reading.
  • The calculators model common cases. Anything unusual in your position is likely outside what they cover.

The date the rates were last reviewed appears in the footer of every page. Treat any figure as an estimate as at that date.

5. What the calculators do not cover

Set out in full on the About page, and in short: income from heads other than salary, business and property; capital gains; foreign income and residency; partial-year employment and the section 12(7) arrears election; minimum tax under section 113; provincial property tax; and non-salaried rates for tax years before 2024-25.

6. Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site — including any tax underpaid or overpaid, any penalty, surcharge or default surcharge, and any consequential loss.

You remain solely responsible for your own tax affairs and for anything you file.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site unlawfully, or to facilitate tax evasion
  • Scrape, crawl or make automated requests at a volume that degrades the service for others
  • Attempt to interfere with the site’s operation or security, or to gain unauthorised access to any part of it
  • Reproduce the content wholesale and present it as your own. Quoting a figure with a link back is fine and welcome.

8. Advertising

The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled, and their content is selected by Google rather than by this site — an advertisement is not an endorsement, and no responsibility is taken for goods or services advertised. The Privacy Policy explains the cookies involved and how to opt out of personalised ads.

9. External links

Links to FBR, provincial authorities and other third parties are provided for convenience. Those sites are not controlled by this one and no responsibility is taken for their content or availability.

10. Intellectual property

The written content, design and code of this site belong to its publisher. Tax rates and statutory text are matters of public law and belong to nobody.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page records the last substantive change, and continued use after a change indicates acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@yourdomain.pk.
